Never miss a beat

Amazing concerts, exhibitions, games, gatherings, and experiences are happening every week. Akron Pulse has them all.

Our Mission

To create the region's ultimate discovery platform where every event, opportunity, and experience is easy to find, so people can always see what's going on before it happens.

Our Vision

A city where showing up is easy: fuller venues, louder blocks, neighbors who actually know each other.

Akron Pulse will make sure you learn about an event a week early, not a day late. We pull data from local websites, venue calendars, ticketing platforms, community mailers, and user submissions (updated daily and deduplicated) to give you the most comprehensive and reliable events calendar in Summit County. The best part: you can tailor it to the cadence that works best for you. Check it out!

Why we built this

For more than ten years here, the line we heard most was always the same: “there's nothing to do.” We never believed it. Something is always happening in Akron. People just find out a day too late.

So we built what we wished existed: one free, complete view of everything going on across Akron and Summit County. Big concerts and quiet community gatherings, markets, fundraisers, classes, games, all of it. It will always be free, and it will never run ads. It's for everyone here, no exceptions.

No more finding out too late.

Byron Delpinal & Mac Love

Technical Transparency

Built in the Open

Akron Pulse is fully open source: every scraper, data pipeline, and line of this frontend is public on GitHub. Nothing is hidden.

Live somewhere else? The whole stack is designed to be forked. Swap the data sources, point it at your city's venues and parks departments, and you've got a community events calendar for Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, or wherever you call home.
